Who has been to the Moon?

We were visiting some friends and Vega was playing with her 5 year old friend (and idol) Zola.

Vega: Look Daddy, it’s a full moon
Daddy: Wow, that’s beautiful. Have you ever been to the moon?
Vega: No
Zola: No
Daddy: Who has been to the moon?
Zola: Aliens
Vega: Barack Obama

Sorry Milk

Yesterday during dinner, Vega started getting distracted and she decided to pour some of her milk on the floor. I stopped her and took away the milk, so she picked up her water and started to pour it.

Daddy: Vega! You're not supposed to pour your drinks on the floor!
Vega: I'm not?
Daddy: No. What do you have to say?
Vega turns around and bends down to the floor where the puddles of milk and water are.
Vega: Sorry Milk. Sorry Water.

Princess Lunchtime

Vega put on one of her princess dresses and sat on her green chair with her arms crossed, very princess-like.

Mom: "What do you want for lunch Vega?"
Vega: "I'm a princess and princesses don't eat lunch"

Vega on Robots

We watched the YouTube video of Intergalactic by Beastie Boys with Songbird backing track this morning. If you haven't seen it, go look now. Anyways, it's got a robot in it.

Vega: I love Robots! They give us big hugs.

Vega on Shadows

It's time for bed and we're looking for Saucy (her giraffe)
Vega: Daddy! I have a Shadow!
Daddy: Where is it?
Vega: Right here! (waving hands and pointing)
Vega starts dancing and singing
Vega: **And I still have my shadow and I love it**

Shortly after this Athena found Saucy stuffed in Vega's purse which is in turn stuffed inside her Mater Tow Truck

Vega can't drink coffee

Vega: I can't drink coffee. I have to grow big and tall I can drink coffee
Daddy: Thats right
Vega: Just don't turn me small Daddy.

Athena was getting ready to take Vega to bed, so Vega came over to give me a hug goodnight.

Daddy: Night night sweetheart, sleep well tonight. What do you want to dream about.
Vega: I want to dream about you, my mommy and my brother Deklan.
